Care & Cleaning
Dusting: All products can be easily maintained with regular light dusting using a feather duster, soft cloth, or dusting mitt.
Vacuuming: For deeper cleaning, vacuum gently with a brush-type attachment. Avoid using high-suction or hard bristle attachments that could damage delicate materials.
Steaming: Soft fabrics are steam-pressed during manufacturing. Steaming may be required (at low temperature) at the time of installation and periodically to remove wrinkles. It is best to use a hand-held, travel-sized steamer that provides continuous steam. Heavy-duty steamers are not recommended.
Spot Cleaning: If spot cleaning is suitable, use a clean, soft white cloth or sponge moistened with lukewarm water. Add a mild, non-abrasive detergent with no additives if necessary. Blot gently—do not rub —to prevent creasing or damage to the fabric. Note: Spot cleaning may result in visibly cleaner areas. Spot cleaning is not recommended for “soft” fabric window treatments. These should be cleaned only by a professional drapery or dry cleaner experienced in decorative fabric window coverings.
Static: Dry environmental conditions may cause static on window coverings. If this occurs, lightly apply an anti-static spray, following the manufacturer’s instructions carefully. Allow the shade to dry completely in the fully lowered position.
